We have three positions we’d like to fill.
1. Islamic Studies Teacher
This is an opportunity to join a well established team on Saturday mornings from 0815 to 1230pm
Job description
- Develop and prepare lesson plans in line with the School curriculum
- Manage the diverse ability levels of students, adapting lesson plans to meet specific student needs
- Provide a positive and safe learning environment for students
- Assess and record student development, while identifying areas which may need attention
- Communicate with the teaching assistant on areas of support
Required skills / qualifications
- An ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults
- Flexibility and creativity
- Previous experience in a teaching role preferable
- To have subject knowledge and understanding of the required level

2. Islamic Studies Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a talented Islamic Studies Teaching Assistant; Saturdays between 8:15am-12:30pm
Job description
- Assist the subject teacher to prepare and plan for lessons
- Assist the subject teacher to teach and lead the classes
- Cover for the subject teacher if absent
- Provide help to students throughout the lesson, and to students who may need extra support in completing tasks
Required skills / qualifications
- An ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults
- Flexibility and creativity
- Previous experience in a teaching assistant role preferable
- To have subject knowledge and understanding of the required level

3. Pilot Class Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a talented Pilot Teaching Assistant; Saturdays between 8:15am-12:30pm. Pilot class is our foundational year group for students from the ages of 6-7

- Assist the subject teacher to teach and lead the classes
- Cover for the subject teacher if absent
- Provide help to students throughout the lesson, and to students who may need extra support in completing tasks

- Previous experience in a teaching assistant role preferable
- To have subject knowledge and understanding of the required level
Remuneration
Standard MCEC pay scale for teachers and teaching assistants
