We are really proud to be supporting Rahma Barclay on her sponsored ride to Jerusalem.

What is Ride4MedicalAid?
Ride4MedicalAid is a sponsored cycle ride from London to Jerusalem to raise awareness and funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). The ride, starting 27 August 2016, will cross 13 countries, covering 3,500km in less than 35 days, arriving at Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem on 30 September 2016.
The route will go through 13 countries, 7 capital cities, the Alps, the famous Dalmatian coastline, and take in countless historical and architectural wonders along the way.

What is MAP’s physiotherapy project?
While people undergo surgery in hospitals, a lot of the recovery depends on good rehabilitation methods and physiotherapy is key to this.
The project that Ride4MedicalAid will help fund will aim to provide specialised training to 80% of physiotherapy staff (143) in its first year and establish an ongoing professional development programme. MAP will be sending out clinicians from London’s own St George’s Medical University to provide training courses.
