Horn of Africa Crisis – Jumma Collection 15th July 2011

With the worst drought hitting the Horn of Africa in 60 years, countries such as Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya are in a serious humanitarian crisis. Around 10 million people are desperately in need of food, clean water and basic sanitation and as part of our work, we have raised with your help £2400 at the last Jumma (15th July 2011).
We will be also adding into this £7600 from Sadaqa collected over the last few months thus bringing the total to £10000 which we will split equally between Islamic Relief and Muslim Aid and their respective appeals.
Of course donations do not start and end at Jumma. Use the links below to donate to both charities who are working hard on the ground.
