MCEC – Palmers Green Mosque is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation dedicated to serving the community and fostering spiritual and social well-being. Our objectives include using the timeless teachings of Islam for the benefit of the public, promoting education, understanding, and unity while providing a welcoming place of worship for Muslims. In addition to our daily prayers and religious services, we offer marriage and funeral services, helping individuals and families during key life moments. We are also committed to empowering our community, developing the skills, confidence, and capacity of members to participate more fully in society, make meaningful contributions, and build a stronger, more inclusive future.

Our History & Values

Palmers Green Mosque (MCEC) was established in 1993, beginning as a small community initiative. In 1996, the site was secured, and construction of the mosque began in 2000, expanding in phases through community support. Today, MCEC stands as a thriving centre for worship, education, and social services, dedicated to fostering faith, learning, and unity.

Over the years, MCEC has grown into a hub for the local Muslim community, offering daily prayers, educational programs, and social initiatives. With a strong focus on youth development, interfaith dialogue, and charitable work, we continue to uphold our mission of serving both our congregation and the wider society with compassion and integrity.
