MCEC Saturday School

MCEC Palmers Green Mosque runs a Saturday School during term time, offering Islamic Studies, Qur’anic Studies, and Arabic in a structured and engaging environment. Our dedicated teachers help children develop faith, moral values, and language skills while fostering a love for learning about Islam.

Classes take place every Saturday morning for children aged 6 to 16, catering to different learning levels in a welcoming atmosphere. For details on admissions, curriculum, or inquiries, please email [email protected]. We look forward to welcoming new students!

Hifz (Qur’an Memorisation) Classes

MCEC offers year-round Hifz classes with limited spaces (10 students), admitted through an entrance exam. Classes run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

New students undergo a 4-week trial period for assessment before receiving individualised targets based on their ability. Progress is data-driven, with termly exams and annual parent meetings.

Lesson Structure:

  • 40 min: Recite new lesson to the teacher
  • 40 min: Review previous and current lessons
  • 40 min: Consolidation (minimum ¼ Juz per lesson)
